Description
Kit is ideal for 10 groups helps to simulate gene expression. The transformed cells take up a plasmid that contains the GFP gene. GFP gene was separated from the jellyfish aequorea victoria. Transformed colonies showing the GFP protein are visibly green in normal light but glows brightly when exposed to long wave UV light. The required supplies not included in this kit are: 5 to 50 ul automatic micropipette and tips, thermometer, 37 degrees C incubation oven, two water baths of 37 42 degrees C, pipet pumps or bulbs, ice, marking pens, Bunsen burner, hot plate or microwave, hot gloves and long wave UV light that are not included in this kit. Some of the components need to be stored in a freezer.- Instructions
