Description
Type 2 RHR Quick Action Deadbolt secures doors fast in times of crisis, and functions as a standard lock for day-to-day use. Students or teachers can easily secure their classroom with a deadbolt fast by using a red button set on the inside of the door. The outside lever does not change when the red button is pressed, meaning security stays stealth if an active intruder is present. This lock functions solely on a door that opens to the right and swings toward the outside of the room when opened. Door must be unlocked from the outside to let students out and resume normal door functioning. This is a type 2 deadbolt, meaning the deadbolt will be reactivated should someone choose to leave the room. Use on doors with 8-inch Mortise Openings. Requires 1 Mortise Cylinder (item 1545355) for external deadbolt use only.
