Specimen lab work calls for a durable Dissecting Pan with Wax. Ideal for introduction through secondary level dissecting applications, this aluminum tray (measuring 7-1/2 L x 11-1/4 W x 1-1/2 H inches) is made of heavy gauge aluminum and coated with flexible dark wax for additional strength. Smooth, rolled edges allow for easy carrying and the ability to be stacked on top of another tray, making it a ideal for student biology labs. When resurfacing, put the pan on a hot plate to melt the wax (but be sure to not heat wax above 250 degrees Fahrenheit). Dissecting Wax is made of a mixture of black tar and white wax. Tray is not dishwasher or microwave safe.Features
