Redeemable prepaid Living Materials Card Code for live organisms to use with FOSS curriculum. Prepaid living material codes can be redeemed online, by mail, fax, or a phone call to Customer Service. Living materials will be shipped once the code is redeemed. An additional handling fee is applied to cover the processing and shipping required for live organisms. Please keep your Living Materials Card Code in a safe place. You will need this unique code to redeem your live organisms when you’re ready.Features
- Living Material code is non-transferable and redeemable only for the material indicated. Codes can only be used once with an expiration of 4 years from the date of purchase.
- When redeeming Living Materials Card Codes, please allow 3–4 weeks for delivery.
- When redeeming Living Materials, they can only be shipped in the 48 contiguous states.
- Please refer to the living materials literature included with the organisms for storage and care instructions.
- Review the Materials section in your Teacher Guide for guidance on how to care for or responsibly handle the organisms during and at the end of the module.
- Care Instructions: As soon as they arrive, rinse the pond snails with dechlorinated or spring water and transfer them to the aquarium. Snails will feed on algae or decaying plant matter naturally found in the aquarium.
