Type 1EOS RHR Quick Action Deadbolt can be used as a standard lock or a deadbolt in times of crisis. Anyone can activate by using a red button set on the inside of the door. Outside lever does not change when red button is pressed, meaning security stays stealth if an intruder is present. Designed for door that opens right and swings outside of the room when opened. Door must be unlocked from the outside to resume normal door functioning. This is a type 1 deadbolt, however, meaning the door does not automatically lock if someone presses the door lever to let themself out. Secures with one mortise cylinder, external, and can be opened with a standard key (included). Use on doors with 8-inch Mortise Openings. Requires 1 Mortise Cylinder (item 1545355).
