Students can create a karyotype and also can recognize pairs of homologous chromosomes using the supplied chromosome spreads. Chromosomes are identified by their length, centromere position and banding pattern to find the sex of the individual & also students can recognize genetic disorders such as down syndrome or turner's syndrome. It includes enough materials for 40 students working in 10 groups of 4 and a teacher's guide.
