The dual hardened steel helical cutters make precise sharpening a snap, while the push-tab selector dial accommodates 8 different pencil sizes. The durable diecast construction and low maintenance of the Ranger 55 makes it exceptionally suitable for the heavy use of a classroom or office environment. Taking only 3 to 4 revolutions to sharpen a standard pencil, the Ranger 55 is efficient and simple to operate by even small hands. The shavings receptacle is easy to remove and snap back into place.
