Effortlessly connect servo motors, explore the micro:bit's pixel light array, and craft robots or mechanical structures such as a crane. Using MakeCode's beginner-friendly block-based coding, students can quickly program their projects and run them independently via battery power. Please note: The Robotic Inventions Project Pack is an add-on to the Strawbees straws and connectors sets. You must have a Strawbees Kit or Bundle to bring the project pack materials to life.Features
Programming and Functionality Features:
Block-Based Coding:
The kit uses the Microsoft MakeCode platform, a beginner-friendly, block-based coding editor. This makes it simple to write and upload programs to the micro:bit
Official MakeCode Extension:
The project pack includes free access to the official Strawbees MakeCode extension, which adds custom programming blocks for controlling the kit's servos and lights
Wireless Operation:
Once a program is uploaded via a USB cable (not included), the micro:bit can run the program independently using battery power, allowing your creation to move untethered
