Neo/SCI Variable Inertia Set contains eight 0.75 in dia steel balls, two discs with hardware and instructions. This set helps students to learn and understand rotational inertia without using mechanical aptitude. Eight solid steel balls are slipped into the compartments inside 3.5 in dia plastic discs and then weighted discs are rolled down a slope, while the students observe which disc rolls down faster.
