Insect Lore’s Butterfly Pavilion Prepaid Kit is ideal for grades PreK to 3. Over the course of three weeks, observe and learn as TEN tiny caterpillars eat and grow, transform into chrysalides, and then emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. Feed and enjoy your butterflies for a few days, then let them go to pollinate our precious world. The reusable pavilion habitat measures 2 feet tall and is an ideal environment for young entomologists to learn all about the life cycle of butterflies. When you're ready to start, simply redeem your voucher online to receive 10 baby live caterpillars and all their food. Record their changes in your entomologist STEM activity journal and learn through its suggested immersive activities! Available in the continental U.S. and Alaska only. Contains small parts, not for children under 3 years of age. Check the temperature! It’s best to do this project when daytime temperatures in your area are between 55-85 degrees Fahrenheit.Features
