Description
The discipline of planning for and responding to disasters is a complex and difficult issue. Students will have to plan for allocation of available resources, moving resources to disasters, saving lives and properties. Using the toss of dice the students will be given parameters for each challenge. How many people are in danger? How many houses are in the path of the disaster? What if the bridge is out or the river overflows? They will be given limited resources by the roll of dice. They will need to develop a plan to allocate the resources, determine the response time, and use their robotics system to get resources to the area and return to the resource area if needed. Robots can be autonomous or controlled. Printed on 13 ounce outdoor matte vinyl. Fits in a standard FLL competition table or can be used on the floor. Measures 44.75 x 92.75 inches.Features
