This kit takes students through agarose gel electrophoresis to demonstrate how it separates differently sized molecules using 6 different restriction enzyme cleavage products. It provides enough materials for 8 lab groups to participate. This set includes a detailed instructional guide, Ready-to-Load QuickStrip™ DNA Samples, UltraSpec-Agarose™, Electrophoresis Buffer (50X), FlashBlue™ DNA Stain, and Practice Gel Loading Solution. The experiment requires the following materials that are not included in this kit: DNA Electrophoresis, micropipettes: 5-50 µl (Optional), a white light box, and a microwave or hot plate.Features
