Description

Students learn about moths and butterflies and their life cycles. Partners will raise a painted lady butterfly and a wax moth from larva to pupa to adult. Some may even see a second generation of larvae hatch. Students record observations in logbooks and learn about survival adaptations, camouflage, mimicry, and ultrasensitivity to odors.
