NeoSCI AP Biology Lab 11 Transpiration 8-Station Refill Kit allows students to calculate the leaf surface area and then calculate the number of stomata per square mm in a specific plant. Students learn about the factors that affects the rate of transpiration and investigate the effect of vascular tissues in water movement within the plant tissues. This kit will help students understand the relationship between leaf type, surface area, stomata number and the rate of transpiration.
