Description
The Paragon Viking Model kiln is designed for extra heavy-duty firing. This 12-sided kiln easily reaches stoneware temperature and is digital featuring a Sentry 12-key digital temperature controller, easy-access switch box, pinless elements, and the LiteLid counter-balance spring system. Extra wattage helps compensate for aging elements or low voltage. It has ample power to reach cone 10 and, if you ever need it, to fire rapidly. Extra wattage and thicker 3 in firebricks help the elements reach porcelain and stoneware temperature without strain. It can naturally handle low-fire ceramics with ease. The massive lid is easy to life with Paragon’s patented LiteLid spring counter-balance and it does away with cumbersome pulleys and cords. Hinged at the bottom, the switch box on this top-loading kiln opens forward for easy maintenance. Kiln stand not included but can be purchased separately using item 2102445. Furniture Kit not included but can be purchased using item 408591. NOTE: Furniture Kit must be purchased at the time of purchase of the corresponding kiln. Please include furniture kit and kiln in the same order. Separate furniture kit orders will not be accepted.
