Frey Scientific Magnetic Stirrer with Hot Plate is the ultimate tool for stirring and heating liquids simultaneously. Fully enclosed 5 x 5 inch cast aluminum heating surface resists chemical spills and has a voltage rating of 110 Volts (V) and a power rating of 180 watts (W). The front panel boasts separate dials for controlling temperature and stirring speed, along with indicating lights that indicate the status of controls (for safety and ease). Temperature has a maximum adjustment of 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit). Stirring capacity up to 500 milliliters (mL) with a strong vortex. A detachable support bar (12 inches long) with a lamp is included to place a thermometer or pH probe (sold separately). Detachable power cord measures 5-1/2 feet long. A teacher's guide is included for science or chemistry class experimentation.Features
